The cottage has a NE aspect, providing superb water and mountain views with a 180° panorama and all-day sun. Peace, tranquility and the sunny verandah invite you to linger. You may watch the sun rise over Mt Mangana on Bruny Island; you can almost touch the spectacular full moon rising in the East, while the night sky will simply take your breath away. The waterfront cottage amenities include one bedroom with a double bed, a lounge room with a lounge that coverts to a double bed, a fully-equipped kitchen, a bathroom with shower and full laundry facilities and — most importantly — a large verandah. A gas BBQ on the verandah with table and seating ensures enables you will be able to enjoy alfresco dining and its preparation. Linen supplied includes Mercer & Reid 500-thread cotton sheets, standard and Sheridan Europe pillows, duvets, single and double blanket throws, Les Olivades quilts, and electric blankets for winter. A cot is also available. And all kitchen utensils down to oven mitts can be found. Fly screens are fitted throughout. You'll find doonas, and electric blankets during the cooler months. The fittings are modern and frequently updated and include: Fridge with freezer, stovette with oven and grill, microwave, airconditioning, a coffee maker with real coffee, automatic washing machine, colour TV/VCR, DVD and CD player, stereo unit, clock radio, iron & ironing board, hair dryer, even a hot water bottle!
